1. Create a game. 20 questions and a related board (20 pts)
  2. Create a children’s book.  You must make sure you explain key concepts in “kid’s language”. Be  creative, include pictures, and a story line (20 pts)
  3. Write/Type a POEM about the current topic we are learning in science (acrostics are great!!) . Please click here for how to write an acrostic poem.
  4. Create a MURAL/COLLAGE about the current topic we are learning in science
  5. Make up words to NURSERY RHYME tune about a science topic we are learning about in class and sing it to the class! examples: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Yankee Doodle, You know, a song kinda like Weird Al Yankovic would sing!
  6. Research a scientist who contributed to our current unit of study.  Write a story about them on the day they announced their discovery or on their job. Include background information. (10 Point
  7. Create a cross word puzzle with 10 up and 10 down.  Make sure you include the definitions. I will definitely use this in class (5 pts)
  8. Draw cartoons that use humor to explain key concepts of our current unit of study. It should be at least  6 frames, descriptive, colored and neat (5-10 pts)
